Great first-weekend at the North Wales Regional Championships.
Jean-Luc Lovell Pascal swam in the first event and did not disappoint, Jean-Luc swam a solid race winning Silver and setting a 25 second personal best (PB) time in the process.
The rest of the team arrived on day two and three, brilliant support, lots of cheering for the swimmers in heats and finals, Stand out swims from the first weekend were Gold medal swims and now Regional Champions – Liv Davies Gold 200m Back & 400m IM , Tomas Clarkes Gold in 200m Back, Jean Luc Lovell-Pascal 100m & 200m Brs & 400m Freestyle, Molly Martin Gold 100 FC & 50m Brs, Katie Allen Gold 50m Back, Emily Jones (AKA Milly) Golds in 50m Fly & 100m Breast, Alexandra Owen-Hatfields 50m & 100m Fly & 400m IM,
Most exciting races Katie Allens 100m Freestyle, Katie came 4th narrowly missing out on a medal the final 4 were, 1st 1:04.68 – 2nd 1:04.73 – 3rd 1:04.84 – Katie 4th in 1:04.90 a mere 0.32 of first place, and Alexandra Owen Hatfields 200IM race also a fingertip touch narrowly missing gold by 0.31 of a second, brilliant races to watch.

Finals were top 8 fastest from the preliminary races in the 50m and 100m races. 200m and above races were; heat declared winners, (no finals for 200m and above races)
41 Finals, 52 PBs = 15 Golds (First), 11 Silvers (second), 7 Bronze (third), 8 Forth’s, 4 Fifth place, 6 Sixth place, 6 Seventh place and 4 Eighth places.
