A travel up to Darwen Lancashire for the 1st round of the Arena League saw the Holywell team dig deep and give a fantastic team performance, the coaches and team manager Lorna Charlotte Terry and Kerry were extremely impressed with all the swimmers, their support was amazing as always.
Scores are announced at each quarter of the competition, first 1/4 we were 4th, second 1/4 we were 4th, third 1/4 we were 4th, and in the last 1/4 after some fast and furious swimming and the team winning the final Canon event the announcement was the team finish in third place.

Please note the 2nd round will be in Ellesmere Port on the 11th November, Swimmers travel to the event by car and will need to be at the venue for 4:45pm to register with the team manager, team selection will be posted on the notice board, if you cant attend please let your coaches know ASAP so a replacement can be selected.
