Commonwealth trials at Welsh Winter Nationals 2017

 2017 WELSH WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS

This post is for all swimmers who obtain qualifying times for the 2017  Welsh Winter Nationals, i have been informed this year the meet reverts back to a Long Course event to accommodate the Commonwealth Trials. As a club we need to decide if we attend the years meet, this will depend on how many swimmers show an interest in attending. last year at the 2016 Welsh Winters it was a Short Course event and we achieved a phenomenal 46 PB’s, resulting in 19 finals form which our swimmers achieved 5 Welsh Championship Titles, set 2 Welsh All Time Records, 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals.

This meet usually runs the first week in December, (still time for parents to do a little shopping in Swansea for those last presents) the meet wont be open for a while, last year entry opened: 9am Monday 10th October 2016 and  closed: Noon Wednesday 9th November 2016. This years opening date TBC.

Please could swimmers who show an interest in attending please let me know as we will need to set swimmers goals and have training plans in place to compete at our best.
