The Club is looking to do another swim camp abroad, we need numbers to pass on to Nick Gillingham who runs a swim camps at the T3 complex in Tenerife, Nicks wife Claire has been in touch, she is looking into a price to include training/accommodation at the Hovima Jardin Caleta ( which is the partner hotel for T3 and within walking distance of the training complex) and transfers, would then need to source our flights. We need to send her the exact dates we are looking at in October 2019 and also an idea of the number of swimmers/ coaches/chaperones etc.
Our last camp was at Calella in Spain (see left), it was a great experience for those who attended and I have been asked numerous times when the next one will be.

A list will be put up on the notice board, please put the swimmer’s name down if they wish to attend the camp, we don’t know costs as yet, once we have an idea of numbers we can start to put costs together. once we know all the costs a meeting will take place with the committee and parents.

We are hoping to have Nick Gillingham MBE, British swimmer, Olympic silver medallist, world champion, former world record-holder, represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. Take some of our sessions, Nick broke three world records, ten European, nine Commonwealth and seventeen British records during his career and won 17 major championships.
Don’t forget, get your name down on the list it will be a great experience for all those who attend.
