Manchester International Meet Up-Date

Important Information received from Bev Brown  Manchester Aquatics meet director

Please note:- Holywell sessions are sessions 2 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday

 

Good morning City of Manchester Aquatics Swim Team are looking forward to seeing you all at our International Meet this coming weekend. 

Sessions times are as follows

Session 1 – Saturday 21st October 2017  8am warm up – 9am start – estimated end 11.20am

BREAK

Session 2 – Saturday 21st October 2017 12 noon start – estimated end 2.30pm

Session 3 – Saturday 21st October 2017  FINALS – 4pm warm up – 5pm start

 

Session 4 – Sunday 22nd October 2017    8am warm up – 9am start – estimated end 11am

                                                                  BREAK

Session 5 – Sunday 22nd October 2017   12 noon start – estimated end 2.30pm

Session 6 – Sunday 22nd October 2017    FINALS – 4pm warm up – 5pm start

 

Session 1 & 4 warm up – the 50m pool and diving pool will be available between sessions 1 & 2 and 4 & 5

 

Please note, all swimming events will start at the scoreboard end.

 

Relay Mixed Team Entries

 

If you are looking to enter a team(s) in the mixed team relays there will be a form included in the Coaches Pack. Please can you complete the form with you swimmers names, in the order you wish them to swim by the end of the final heat sessions (2 & 4).  If you haven’t paid in advance please either pay on the day or by bank transfer

 

Withdrawals

Coaches/Team Managers or swimmers MUST notify the recorders of any swimmers withdrawing from HEATS (session 1, 2 & 4 & 5) before 8.20am on the day in which the event is due to be swum. Details of any withdrawals can be emailed to comastinternational@gmail.com or lodged at the Coaches Kiosk (poolside room) on the appropriate form on the day.

Coaches Pack/Team Manager/Athlete Passes

Coaches can collect their packs, including athlete passes, from the event desk at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. Athletes, team managers and coaches need to enter the building through the left entrance.

 

Athletes, team managers and coaches will only be permitted poolside if they can show their pass. 

 

Car Parking

The NCP Aquatics Multi Storey Car Park will be closed on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October, the alternative car park is University Car Park D [Booth Street West MSCP] on Higher Cambridge Street M15 6AR please follow the yellow diversion signs.

 

This car park will be free of charge for Manchester Aquatics Centre Users.
