Holywell ASC Back in Training Tonight.

            WELCOME BACK TO SWIM TRAINING

I hope you all had a great summer break, you are fully refreshed and ready to get back in to training.

Here are a few things that will help you improve on last season .

ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE

  1. Eat well balanced meals, for you as a top athlete it is not 5 a day fruit and veg. IT IS 7 A DAY.
  2. Hydrate throughout the day EVERY day. NO FIZZY DRINKS.
  3. Get enough sleep 8hrs plus per night.
  4. Turn up ON TIME to ALL swim training .
  5. Turn up to ALL your land based training sessions
  6. Attend ALL 50m training
  7. Do not blame others in your lane for being too slow or too fast, your coaches set the pace they want YOU to go.
  8. Work at the correct intensity set by the coach as in 7. but remember (turning up is NOT enough) 
  9. Have daily goals during training (ie i am going to focus on tighter flip turns today) or ( must concentrate on my streamline)
  10. LISTEN and WORK WITH YOUR COACH GIVE US FEED BACK, we are here to help you improve.
