Former Holywell Coach Gerald Hay Retires.

Calling all past swimmers past and present /parents and coaches, one of Holywell’s former coaches Gerald Hay (Gez) is stepping down as head coach of Rhyl Dolphins on Sunday 2nd Oct. Gez will still be helping out Rhyl’s new head coach Bob Nuttall a few of days a week.

Rhyl swimming club are compiling a memory book for him from all past and present swimmers/parents/coaches and friends.  If anyone  who remembers Gerald (Gez) and would like to put a comment in the book, it is available on the balcony on Friday evening at Rhyl Leisure Centre.

From all at Holywell we wish Bob Nuttall all the best as the new head coach of Rhyl Dolphins, Bob you have a big pair of shoes to fill following Gez, i am sure the transition will go well with Gez still around to help.

From me personally, thanks for all the chats poolside Gez, and as with our own Terry Hughes another legend hangs up his stopwatch……
