Well done Ella Williams and Liv Davies                      Qualifiers for 2017                            British Summers Championships

Over the past few months the team have been striving to qualify for the 2017 British Summer Championships within a qualifying window, that closed on the 29th May. The event takes place across six days at Ponds Forge in Sheffield from 25–30 July. These Championships form part of a Performance Pathway Strategy aimed at increasing and supporting junior talent on the journey towards senior medal-winning performances in the future. The Holywell team produced some amazing swims and our coaches and committee  are very proud of you all.

Ella and Liv received confirmation this week of their place in the Championships, they had a nail biting few days as they had to wait for the results to come in from Manchester and Cardiff last weekend. The event requires swimmers to be ranked in the top 24 in Britain, both girls achieved this, Ella will be swimming in the 200IM event and Liv will be swimming in the 50m, 100, and 200m Breaststroke events. All our coaches, committee and your team mates wish you all the best at the championships, Well done girls.
