New Strength and Conditioning Coach

I would like to welcome Chris Jones onto the coaching team, Chris has joined us in the role of land training fitness coach, Chris is a qualified personal trainer who can offer tailor made training plans with nutritional advice, Chris is currently working as a health and performance coach at Pro Fitness in Wrexham, he is a fitness and outdoor sports enthusiast, an age group triathlete, road bike racer and competitive runner. Chris’s motto is train smart and race hard!

Chris has taken the land training session on a Thursday 6pm – 7pm for the past 2 weeks and the swimmers are loving it, comments are its really hard but enjoyable.

These sessions are for all swimmers over the age of 11 and essential for swimmers looking to move to the next level of fitness.

 

One thing i would ask, could all swimmers please show good training etiquette, listen to Chris, don’t all shout out questions at the same time, watch how Chris demonstrates the drills/exercises and you will all improve at a faster rate.

So as Chris said, train smart, race hard, and enjoy the session.
