Wrexham Crystal Meet Review

here and team support again from our swimmers and their parents at the Crystal meet on Sunday 17th March, the swimmers had a ball poolside and it was a really fun event for the team.
33 Holywell swimmers pulled together to give an awesome performance with great swimming helping the team come 2nd overall behind Bebington Swimming clubs 54 swimmers scored 253 Points against Holywells 230 Points (Results from Meet Mobile), Points are scored from the top 6 placings ie six points for 1st and one point for 6th, the team were only 23 points in deficit resulting in a truly great performance by Holywell swimmer’s, well-done team.
A couple of stand out swims: Liv Davies, 100 Breaststroke, a deserved PB swimming 1:12.96 putting Liv back in the No1 spot at the top of the Welsh Short course Rankings. Alexandra Owen-Hatfield in the 100m IM in 1:17.06 which also takes Alexandra to No1 In Wales for this event.
Well Done to Liv Davies, Alexandra Owen Hatfield and Francesca Owen Hatfield in winning the top girl awards in their age groups and also to the team for winning second overall in the visiting club category.
