Potential Parking Issue at the Wrexham Crystal meet.
The Crystal Meet on Sunday 17th March at Waterworld is on the same day as the Wrexham Marathon.
Although there is no designated parking for the Marathon, Run Wales are advertising the closest car park to the start and finish as Waterworld.
Waterworld’s car park will fill up early and very quickly and you may need to look for alternatives. Please find attached a map which shows some alternative parking to Wrexham Waterworld. Click on councilmap_en below.

There are also a number of road closures planned for the 17th around Wrexham, see below:-
06:30 am – 16:00 pm: Chester Street, Yorke Street, Hightown Road
06.30am – 13:00pm : Cefn Road to Bedwell Road
06:30 am – 16:00 pm: Cefn Road, 1 lane from Greyhound roundabout to Queensway in this direction only
06:00 am – 16:00 pm: Salop Road at the roundabout, back of Eagles Meadow, controlled by traffic management stop/go system”
Advice would be to get to Waterworld early in an attempt to get a space.
