Regional Championships Team 2018. Ella Williams Top Girl
Super effort and dedication at the Regional championships, over two weekends on the 2nd, 3rd 4th, – 9th, 10th, and 11th of February the team were brilliant and came second overall. Three of our girls finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the overall female scoring with Ella Williams winning the top Girl trophy. The boys also did well with George Davies finishing 5th overall in the male category and Scott Woolley joining the SUB-60s group(well done). The team amassed 37 Golds, 25 Silvers, and 17 Bronze, totalling 79 medals, they also recorded 206 personal best times. The swimmers exhibited great team spirit in the relays showing the team’s strength in depth, 4 Gold, 5 Silver, 4 Bronze, 2 Forth’s, 7 Fifth’s. The noise was incredible and the atmosphere immense, the team showed great support for each other, all were a credit to themselves and the club.
