Sheffield City Glyn Mettam Memorial B-Grade Meet
The Sheffield meet is open to ALL our swimmers, this is a one day meet and our coaches would like as many swimmers to enter this meet as possible, we are looking to take a large team, this will be a great chance for us to compete as a team. I would like our swimmers to enter as many events as they can, including the 200IM. All the information can be found in the meet pack.
Hotels can be booked now from around £30 – £40 across the road from the pool. Premier Inn (Angel Street). The Ibis (Sheffield City). The Travel Lodge (Sheffield Centre). The Holiday Inn Express ( Sheffield City Centre) another Premier Inn at (St Marys Gate, free car park 15 min walk). Book as soon as possible as prices will rise the closer it gets to the meet date. ( PLEASE NOTE:- when booking hotels for away meets, always book with an option to cancel)
The event will be held over two sessions at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre on Saturday 17th November 2018.
- Level 3 licensed event
- Age Groups are 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs/Over : Age as at 17th November 2018
- 50m and 100m events for all four strokes plus 200m IM for all ages
- 50m 10 Lane International Deck Level Pool
Officials are always very welcome and much appreciated and they can often accommodate trainee Officials.
