Dear Parents and Swimmers.

To address some concerns and comments we have received recently regarding HASC changing room policy.

. Our changing room policy is in line with that of Swim Wales.

. The rationale in accordance with Swim Wales policy and duty of care provided by HASC is such that with our changing area often being in public use, as well as used by our swimmers we have decided to provide a committee member whenever possible to assist the coaching staff, in supervising this area.

. Every committee member that is operating in this role has a DBS check and has attended a Child Protection course.

. The role is under the guidance of the coaching staff and the committee member is there to provide supervision and support as deemed necessary by the Head Coach.
