After a 2 hour training session in the pool and a further hour in the gym, Holywell Club joined in with the Healthy Living event that took part in the Town’s Leisure centre and High Street on Saturday the 3rd of June, swimmers from the club walked up and down the high street with the clubs flag handing out information leaflets about the club speaking to locals and visitors in the town about the club and what we do.
Our Head coach Terry Boardman and Chair of the club Beth Hall discussed the club with David Hanson MP who attended the event, Terry explained one of our ventures is to fundraise for new starting blocks and informed Mr Hanson we are aiming to raise £12000. Mr Hanson was very positive and was impressed by what we have achieved and what we have planned going forward, Mr Hanson stated if he could help in any way he would, which is great for the club.

Anyone interested in Joining Holywell ASC, please come along for a chat between 5.15pm and 7.15pm Monday to Thursday or pop in on a Saturday between 7am – 9am. One of our coaches will answer any questions and arrange for a trial swim.
